"Louie is doing great. He's calm and happy. It's like we've had him for 10 years - I've never seen a dog adjust so quickly to unfamiliar surroundings, but it speaks to his spirit. He's been really good with the cats too - very gentle - doesn't chase, rush, or bark at them and seems to instinctively know that he's the new guy on the block and needs to give them some space and time. The first night at home, all three of them were sitting in the same room with the two of us, watching TV quietly. Given the personalities of these two cats - rather high-strung and anal, to say the least - we were amazed. I thought they'd be in hiding for weeks. Louie is a perfect match for us. We love him and he is part of the family. He fell asleep on my lap on the way home and the deal was clinched. We feel like he has been with us forever. A very natural fit."
