Skella

Skella was adopted by a wonderful man who lost his Schipperke after a long life. Tom was just beginning to think about adopting another dog when he met Skella at our vet's during her appointment. It was love at first sight - for both of them. After Skella gave Tom a bath with her tongue it was hard to imagine her going home with anyone else. Once she recovered from her spay surgery she was ready to move in with Tom. We're confident they will both provide each other with enough love and companionship to last a lifetime!

Her Story:
Skella is a sweet little Dachshund mix who is only about 6 weeks old (born around June 4th). She was found by a good Samaritan who wanted to keep her but quickly abandoned her after he applied too much flea medication and needed medical attention. Thankfully, the vet staff knew exactly what to do and they treated Skella and she is now perfectly fine! Skella is fearful of much bigger dogs, so she is looking for a home where she can be her cute little self without worry.
